Swimming: A desire came true!!!

I had this desire since so many years to learn swimming. Wanted to go to summer camps, but swimming in the afternoon under the sun, u know we girls are worried about getting tanned n stuff :) so never went for it. There is no girls batch anywhere after 6.00P.M.

When infy came with this wonderful swimming pool , I was very much tempted to go for it. But I had such hectic projects for a year now, never had time. Then there was one more thing also preventing me from venturing... No girls went for swimming as it was a combined batch.

Finally a week back I decided, this is going no where, I have this desire and I am going to make it .. What better opportunity than this!!!I had already got my swim suit a nice black one(my favorite color) and spoke to the coach over there.

Yesterday was my first class. Well coming out, to the pool for the first time..I did feel a bit conscious. When I got into the pool I was so excited and comfortable.Wow! Water was so clean and wonderful. Climate also was breezy and not sunny. It was 6.00 in the evening after all.

On the first day I learnt to float and just the basics as usual. Never realized I was actually there for 45 minutes!!! On the first day I am not allowed to stay longer than that :( so had to pack up.

My first day in the swimming pool..Feels so exciting and so refreshing. Its always so nice to learn something new- you feel like a new born child!!!
